Celebrating 5 Years: Erica Goodwin
It’s hard to believe it’s already been five years since Erica Goodwin became a Pepper! As our human resources manager, she leads with empathy and authenticity, creating an environment where everyone feels supported.
Scroll on for a fun Q&A and an infographic we put together to celebrate Erica’s Pepperversary!

1. Best part of working at Eleven Peppers Studios?
Being around lots of creative people, and the swag is an extra perk!
2. If you were a pepper, what type would you be and why?
Maybe a Cubanelle Pepper – mildy sweet with a subtle spice.
3. What is your favorite 11p event?
I always love the company picnic.
4. What is your favorite present ever received from 11p?
The bathrobe, it’s amazing.
5. What is your favorite 11p memory?
I loved the holiday Pepperpalooza party. It was so fun to watch everyone perform.
6. Name a Pepper you can always lean on for support or advice:
The whole ops team.
7. Name a Pepper whose work ethic inspires you:
Do I have to name one? There is so much creative talent. I’m in awe when I see everyone’s work. Theresa and Kristen’s work ethic definitely inspires me. It doesn’t always show outwardly but they are always jumping through hoops to get the best possible contract/position for employees. I’ve never been at a company that invests so much time and effort into advocating for employees.
8. My spice meter :
1. What’s something small that brings you joy on a regular day?
My morning cup of coffee.
2. Your family calls it “embarrassing‑mom‑dancing”, what’s your go‑to move?
I don’t know if my moves have a name but if no one’s around both my kids will usually join me.
3. What outdoor activities does your family enjoy most together?
Hiking, the more adventurous the better.
4. What’s a recent outdoor adventure that made you smile?
Waterskiing with my daughter over the summer. It’s fun to watch her improve and it reminds me of how old I am when I try to keep up.
5. Do you have a favorite beach memory that always sticks with you?
My family and I saw a UFO when we were star gazing on the beach in Assateague Island. I’m sure there was a perfectly reasonable explanation to what we were seeing but we don’t know what it was. It’s still something that comes up regularly in our family conversations.
6. If you could teleport to any beach in the world for a day, where would you go and what would you do first?
Definitely someplace with turquois water. I always enjoy a sunset cruise or just sitting on the beach with a book, but my daughter is desperate to swim with the dolphins so I’d probably start there.
7. How did you get into sewing, and what do you enjoy most about it? What’s the most meaningful or memorable thing you’ve ever sewn?
I just finished a t-shirt blanket of all my son’s old shirts. So many memories. I made it for him to take to college, but I might need it more then he will. 🙂
