DISCOVERY AND STRATEGY

11p was given the opportunity to completely redesign the CTS site. With Space and Defense being such an impressive subject matter, there were many stylistic design avenues to explore. We started by compiling mood boards that presented four distinct design and photographic style directions.

CTS went with the design style that included large and striking photography, bold typography, and three-dimensional icons.

Capability Icons

When it came to icon design, 11p wanted to design a unique set that embodied the unique, scientific nature of the work performed by CTS employees. To achieve this goal, we designed three-dimensional icons that were placed in three-dimensional cube shapes. The effect points to the technical and analytical nature of the company’s capabilities.

11p delivered a rich, multi-dimensional website that draws a visitor in through compelling photography and design. The gravity of the work CTS performs is immediately evident with a dynamic hero image of a space satellite while the technical complexity of their work is conveyed through intricate iconography and geometric patterns.
